Rimmers Music is a musical instrument retailer and specialist which delivers a diverse range of high quality, low priced musical instruments, accessories, lessons, repairs and advice to a huge and varied customer base throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Rimmers Music was established in 1978 and is now owned and run by former musician and entrepreneur, Gary Tate; who, at his musical peak, performed on stage with acts such as David Copperfield, Ken Dodd and Lenny Henry. With his excellent knowledge of the music industry, we have been improving and expanding ever since.

Regarded as one of most respected musical instrument retailers in theUK, we have now opened our seventh retail outlet in theNorth West. All of our stores employ expert staff who deliver consistent, exceptional and friendly service. The service we provide does not just stop at simply selling instruments, at Rimmers Music we also provide nationally recognised, grade level music lessons for various instruments; 24-hour, professionally soundproofed rehearsal spaces; expert, tailored advice and repairs, restoration and instrument set-up.
