The TCY20 is part of Ibanez`s Talman family of acoustic guitars which feature a smaller double cutaway body than the common dreadnaught shape. The less bulky body on these guitars make them easy to get on with if you`re an electric player moving to acoustics or a younger player that finds dreadnaughts too big and ¾ size too small. The TCY20 is an electro-acoustic so you have the option of plugging in to and amplifier via the under the saddle pickup which has been specifically designed to produce crystal clear high end in order to cut through the mix over other instruments.
Specifications
The TCY20 features a figured Ash top, back and sides with a mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard and bridge. Combined with pearl inlays, chrome tuners and abalone rosette the TCY20 is an attractive guitar with a great deal of playability. This guitar is available in an antique violin sunburst and a transparent red sunburst both finishes have a slight quilt look to them which really makes them look the part.
