Alesis DM10 MK2 Pro Electric Drum Kit With Mesh Heads Package

The Iconic DM10 MKII Pro Kit

The Alesis DM10 MKII Pro Kit is a premium ten-piece electronic drum set with our exclusive Alesis dual-zone mesh drum heads (U.S. Patent 9,424,827) that deliver an unprecedented degree of realistic drum “feel” and personal expression for modern electronic drummers. These ultra-quiet mesh drum heads come closer to duplicating the feel of an acoustic drum head and their natural rebound better than any previous Alesis electronic drum kit. The Alesis mesh drum heads have a precise adjustment knob so drummers can adjust the heads to provide the exact response that best suits their playing style.

Perfect for Studio and Live Performance

Designed for the studio and live performance, the DM10 MKII Pro Kit is a premium ten-piece electronic drum kit and comes complete with six drum pads (10/10/12/12” toms,12” snare with stand, and 8" Bass drum), four cymbals (12” hi-hat, two 14” crash, and a 16” three-zone ride), and the heavy-duty quick lock chrome Rack. It’s equipped with the exclusive Alesis tightly woven black mesh drum heads that dampen acoustic noise and provide a singularly natural drumming experience. Players will immediately notice the improved feel, response, and reduction in acoustic noise, making the DM10 MKII Pro Kit ideal for quiet late-night practice sessions, as well as live performance and no-compromise studio recording.

Quiet mesh heads are Alesis's best yet

Alesis's first-gen DM10 made a big splash with the drumming community. And Sweetwater drummers are pleased to announce that the DM10 MKII Studio Kit is even better. Its tightly woven black mesh heads are not only ultra quiet but offer great rebound and high triggering accuracy for realistic performances with your DAW or straight into a soundboard.

New module is even sleeker and simpler

Fans of the Alesis Command love the DM10 MKII's streamlined interface. Dedicated transport and metronome controls make practice a snap. Front panel headphone and master volume controls make level matching a cinch. And the brushed metal-on-black rotary knob, paired with dedicated forward and back buttons, let you cycle through kits for instant inspiration.

Chrome rack has for ruggedness for the road, looks for the studio

When it's your session on the line, the last thing you want is a wobbly stand vibrating and false-triggering your pads. The rugged, chromed-out stand included with your Alesis DM10 MKII Studio Kit locks into place for a consistent playing experience every time. It also packs up neatly for travel, which is perfect for occasionally playing out.

Had this kit for about 2 months so I didn't write review till I'd learned a bit about it. Firstly just to dispel some of the things I'd read about it , it is certainly not flimsy and is actually well constructed. Took a while to assemble but if you take your time it is well worth it. The module has a lot on it and at first I wasn't sure of how good the sounds were but as I leared how to tweak it as the weeks went on it really is quite something. It knocks spots off my older Roland kit which I traded in against it. The cymbals which I read were not that good are in fact quite heavy duty and the amount of different sounds I can get out of them is incredible. Sensitivity know on each of the 5 drums is handy. Be prepared to spend a little time adjusting it and you will be well pleased. I just need to learn how to add kits etc from usb stick and then there will be that much on it I will never be able to use it all. Brilliant...money well spent!
