C F Martin LX1E X Series Acoustic Guitar Solid Spruce Top
What We Think
The Martin LX1E is one of Martin’s smallest acoustic guitars however still has a big, bold tone! This fantastic instrument features a solid sitka spruce top for a rich, warm tone, high pressure laminate mahogany back and sides so the guitar is durable, and of course a small travel size body making it the ideal option for buskers and people on the go! The Martin LX1E also has on board the ‘Fishman Sonitone’ pre amp system therefore it could potentially even be a gigging guitar! A small, fun guitar to play with the precision and build quality of C F Martin.

This Mini Martin guitar comes in a small size but hits with huge tone. Its sitka spruce wood offers surprisingly loud volumes which would fool anyone who couldn’t see the guitar. Non scalloped bracing also offers a nice amount of sustain which you would expect from full bodied dreadnoughts. It is perfect for the travelling musician or even for someone whom gigs every night it has that much clarity and richness. I would recommend anyone to have a go on this if you haven’t already.
The Martin LX1E Little Martin Electro-Acoustic Guitar features a solid Sitka Spruce top, Mahogany high-pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides, and a warm satin finish. Despite being Martin's smallest guitar, the LX1E is very big on tone, quality and versatility. It's size makes it ideal for travel, student practice or for just playing around the house or campfire. The Martin LX1E is fitted with the Fishman Sonitone, which is a subtle soundhole mounted preamp with volume and tone control options for tweaking your amplified sound.
