Casio AP270 BK Celviano Digital Piano Package
What We Think
Well, where do I start with this new addition to Casio’s Celvieno range of digital pianos , its fantastic. I certainly wouldn’t say it was a entry level digital piano. The quality of the action on this piano is a joy to play, with great control of dynamics and expression. The new “2” piano sounds are equally impressive, the “european” sound having great depth of tone for playing many of the great classical repertoire. It is a warm strong tone, really impressive. The second sound is a brighter more vibrant tone, lending it self to jazz and more modern pieces.
The Ap-270 also has Casio’s Concert play feature on, giving you many of the great classicals played by a symphony orchestra, which you can play along to with the music scores you get with the piano. The piano has a total of 22 tones, with built in reverb settings. You can also combine any two sounds and split the keyboard if you wish.
With a sliding key cover and the standard 3 pedals, headphone sockets for silent private practice, the Ap-270 is packed with some great features, and with great overall quality this is certainly better than some entry level models on the market and certainly with a serious look.
Have the privilege of playing two Concert Grand piano sounds. Casio show their extensive attention to detail with their Acoustic and Intelligent Resonator technology. This AiR uses a long sampling time to make the rich, resonant tone you only find in a quality acoustic piano. Every dynamic nuance you would get with a fine concert grand is beautifully captured. You hear this on the AP 270's European and American grand piano tones which are sampled to perfection and ready for both classical and contemporary music styles.
Get a taste of playing with a world-class orchestra. With Concert Play and the Casio AP-270, you can experience this standard of music. Choose from 10 beautifully recorded classical melodies, and play the piano alongside the thrilling sound of a symphony orchestra. This is a great introduction to the orchestral music that we know and love and builds an appreciation of music that will last a lifetime.
