Main features on the new CDP-S100 and the CDP-S350 include:
- A new dynamic stereo sound source. The new source produces much better sound, making it more balanced and adding greater dynamic for each tone.
- A new scaled hammer action II keyboard. This provides a more acoustic-piano like touch, also on the key faces, a new ebony and ivory finish has been added.
- A lighter, more compact design. Casio now claims that the CDP-S range is the lightest in their category, they have also re-engineered the pianos to consume less energy.
The CDP-S100 is the more basic instrument with 10 preset sounds, whilst the CDP-S350 offers a far wider range of tones (and pitch-bend controller) along with digital recording facilities and programmable registration memories.
