FREE Next Day Delivery on orders before 4PM

We offer FREE Next Day Delivery on orders over £25.00 to UK Mainland (ordered  before 4PM)

If you order before 4pm, Monday to Friday, we can despatch in stock orders the same day for next working day delivery. Many items will also be available for weekend Saturday and Sunday Delivery if this is more convenient for you (This option will be made available at checkout if applicable items are purchased). Orders placed after 4pm on Friday and on Saturday or Sunday will be despatched on Monday.

We sell a vast range of Musical Instruments so to keep our prices as low as possible for our customers we use different delivery methods for different items. All purchases over £25.00 have no delivery cost to our customers to UK Mainland addresses. For Rimmers Music to absorb this cost we use different couriers that we have negotiated low delivery rates with to ensure our customers get the competitive price they deserve along with an appropriate, quality delivery service.

Here are the delivery options we have available and service you can expect from them:

Royal Mail
For small items of a weight of (up to and around) 1KG such as strings, capos, lead/cables, connectors, headphones, guitar straps, guitar tuners, music lights and many more accessory items we post via Royal Mail Second Class (meaning the order will arrive within 7 days via the postal service in your area), this method enables us to keep the delivery cost minimal. This delivery method is used for most items under £25.00 as these are usually smaller accessory items. We charge a very small delivery charge for this service due to the low price of the initial sale.

DPD Local
For items up to (and around) 1 Metre in size and up to 30KG we use DPD Local. With this delivery service we supply tracking information and it is a next working day delivery service with a 1 hour delivery window supplied. This service is applied to purchases over £25.00 in value (within the stated weights and sizes) and is a FREE Delivery Option for our customers (on all UK Mainland orders). Our customers also have the ability to select a delivery day and change the delivery day after despatch via contacting the courier, we are also always here you help should you need to change delivery days or times if you need us. Weekend delivery is also available from this courier should it be more convenient, which can be selected at checkout on applicable orders.

TNT
For items larger than 1 metre with weights up to 150KG we despatch using TNT on a next working day delivery service. Tracking information will be supplied but TNT does not currently offer a delivery time window. Our customers have the ability to select a delivery day and change delivery day after despatch via contacting the courier, we are also always here to help should you need to change delivery days or times if you need us. Saturday delivery is also available from this courier should it be more convenient, which can be selected at checkout on applicable orders.

Free Home Installation Delivery and Build

For very large or heavy items such as acoustic and digital pianos we offer Free Home Installation Delivery and Build, whereby we contact the customer to arrange a convenient delivery day and time. The order will be delivered by our specialist delivery team. We will deliver your product, build it for you and place it where you want it in your home. This delivery option is applied to all our acoustic piano sales to UK Mainland or available upon request for many digital pianos (as indicated on the products). This will be a ground floor installation and delivery service (unless agreed in advance). This option is not usually a next day service, but will be confirmed with you by telephone (and email) with a day and an estimated delivery time. The delivery is by professionals who specialise is moving products of this nature, which are fully insured and handle the instruments with the care and respect they deserve. Please Note
Delivery can only be to the verified address of your Credit or Debit Card/Paypal/ AmazonPay/Finance Agreement or American Express Card as fraud and theft protection for our customers (and Rimmers Music).
If you pay by Bank Transfer delivery can be to any UK Mainland address of your choice without question. Delivery to an alternative address may be available by request, but is subject to certain conditions.
Any redirection of an order after it's been despatched may incur an extra charge and have to be authorised by Rimmers Music.

Standard delivery and FREE delivery charges displayed apply to most U.K. Mainland addresses. Deliveries to Northern Ireland, UK non-mainland and Highland addresses may incur a surcharge. We will contact you should this be the case following the receipt of your order. All deliveries/installations other than postal items will require a signature as proof of delivery, this can be by anyone at the delivery address and does not need to be the person who as ordered and paid for the goods. This is required as proof the item has arrived safely at the delivery address as requested.

Estimated delivery times for out of stock items are intended as a guide only and we will provide information based on the information given to us by our suppliers. Please note that your order would not usually be despatched until all items are in stock, but please contact us if you would like to discuss getting part of an order and will accommodate any reasonable requests the best we can. Our customer satisfaction is priority.

Whilst every effort will be made to deliver items within the timescales we have provided this cannot be guaranteed, but rest assured we will always do our best to ensure we get your order to you within the timescales indicated on your order. Customer care is very important to our company and getting your order on time is our priority. Should something go wrong with a delivery we will do our utmost to keep you informed and rectify any issue with empathy, consideration and to your complete satisfaction.

Shipment to other EU countries is possible, but extra delivery charges will apply. Please contact us for details.

Returns

14 Day No Fuss Returns

The customer has a 14 day cooling off period from the day after the day on which they received the goods. During this period the customer has the right to cancel an order for items purchased from our website in writing. Orders can be cancelled by emailing us at returns@rimmersmusic.co.uk.   If you wish to cancel your order you may wish to fill in our Rimmers Music Cancellation Form. A copy can be downloaded below so you can then return/cancel your order with the  minimum of fuss if you have changed your mind. A copy of the cancellation form is also supplied with your order email.

Please note cancelled items must be returned to us within 14 days after giving notice of cancellation.

If you cancel this contract you will need to cover the cost of delivery or make arrangements to return the items to us.  We recommend that you use the original packaging where possible  and use a tracked method.  If you do not have the original packaging all items must be sent using appropriate packing material to prevent the items getting damaged or scratched.  Rimmers Music is unable to accept responsibility for any item that is damaged due to insufficient packaging.  Please note your refund may be refused if the item is not packaged correctly.

With regard to software and digital item sales the right to cancel and return is lost if the digital content or software is used by the consumer by downloading/installing or registering the data.

Some items are only eligible for cancellation if they are returned to us unused and sealed in the original packaging, and in the case of software, unregistered. These items include:

  • Software
  • CDs & DVDs
  • Headphones and In-ear Monitors
  • Earplugs and Ear Protection
  • Mouthpieces, Reeds etc… for Woodwind and Brass instruments
  • Mouth / Lip Care Products

We are unable to accept returns of any custom items. Exceptions may only be possible with our prior agreement and may be subject to a cancellation fee.

We may cancel any order placed by a customer prior to the goods being received by the customer if we are no longer able to supply the item, there has been a significant price change of the item, or if we suspect the transaction is fraudulent. If an order is cancelled by us, any monies paid by the customer will be refunded in full.

14 Day Return Policy

This policy gives the customer the right to cancel an order for an item purchased from our website by emailing us at returns@rimmersmusic.co.uk.

Delivery/collection charges will need to be met by the customer, however we do provide a collection service for which the cost is dependent on the item size and weight. 

Some items are only eligible for the 14 day return policy if they are returned to us unused and sealed in the original packaging, and in the case of software, unregistered. These items include:

  • CDs & DVDs
  • Headphones and In-ear Monitors
  • Earplugs and Ear Protection
