A rosewood bridge glued at a precise point brings stable intonation and tone to the Epiphone J45 Acoustic Guitar. As well as coping with the strain of the guitars main stress point the rosewood also complements the spruce top to further enhance the instruments tone.
The Epiphone AJ220s Acoustic Guitars natural finish is offset beautifully by a black binding and a classic tortoiseshell pickguard adorned with the iconic Epiphone ‘E’.
With the spruce top responding well to being played hard and the rosewood bridge keeping intonation in check the Epiphone AJ220s Guitar needed a neck that was going to keep up. Epiphone have therefore supplied the J45 with a mahogany neck that has been glued in with a dovetail joint at the 14th fret.
The Epiphone AJ220s Acoustic Guitar’s 25.5” scale neck also features Epiphone’s SlimTaper shape that’s both comfortable and more than capable of being played with speed. Topping this is a rosewood fingerboard with Mother-of-Pearl dot inlays. The Epiphone J45 Guitars headstock features the classic Sloped Dovewing shape and comes with premium tuners.
