The Epiphone Dove Studio Electro Acoustic, Violin Burst is an iconic, beautiful sounding, and looking electro-acoustic guitar that is decorated with a 'Dove' design. The Dove Pro is crafted with select maple back and sides, which delivers exceptionally bright tones with ringing sustain and it is topped with solid spruce for enhanced crisp, tight highs. The square-shouldered dreadnought body provides players with comfortable playability as well as full-bodied, ringing resonance. With a set-in SlimTaper 'D' Profile maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, the Epiphone Dove Pro Electro Acoustic yields snappy highs with a warm, articulate low end. When plugged in, the Dove Pro Electro Acoustic delivers a 'truly acoustic' tone yet with increased projection for stage performances; thanks to the Fishman Electronics on-board. The electronics include a Fishman SoniTone preamp at the soundhole, which allows players to easily adjust volume and tone, as well as a Fishman SoniCore pickup underneath the saddle. The Dove Pro Electro Acoustic is complete with a Violin Burst finish, and a tortoiseshell pickguard with a unique Dove artwork design, to ensure the EJ-200CE looks just as beautiful as it sounds.

The Fishman Electronics on-board the Dove Studio include a SoniTone Preamp in the sound-hole and a SoniCore Pickup located underneath the saddle. The SoniTone Preamp provides players with enhanced projection, ideal for stage performances; as well as versatile control over the sound. There are simple and easy-to-access controls on the preamp that include a Master Volume and Master Tone, so that you can amplify your acoustic voice.

Maple & Spruce Construction

The Dove Studio Guitar is crafted with both select maple and solid spruce, for a versatile and responsive instrument. The back and sides are crafted from maple, which delivers a beautifully bright sound that dominates in the mid and treble ranges. The maple is topped with solid spruce which enhances the tone with crisp highs and tight lows, to create an overall balanced sound packed with plenty of punch.

Maple Neck Paired With Rosewood Fingerboard

The Epiphone Dove Studio features a smooth maple neck which enables fast and comfortable playing, ideal for a variety of playing styles and techniques. The maple neck yields bright and twangy tones as well as excellent clarity and ringing sustain. while the rosewood fingerboard creates bright sounds with warm lows. The neck is paired with a soft rosewood fingerboard, that offers added warmth and singing articulation to the overall sound.

The Dove guitar was first introduced onto the music scene back in 1962 for Gibson, which made the their second square-shouldered dreadnought after the beautiful Hummingbird two years earlier. The Dove is an iconic model due to its classic, bright acoustic tones and stunning 'Dove' pickguard artwork and bridge inlay. It soon became recognised as a 'Rock and Roll' icon, and a 1969 Custom Dove was released for Elvis to use in the early 1970s.

When you purchase a piano which we supply with home installation we place the piano in a room of your choice **, we will get in touch once we have received your order to arrange the delivery. Home installations are usually completed within 14 days of the order but often sooner if the item is in stock.
