The guitar you know and love. Dressed up for a special occasion. The Epiphone Les Paul Custom honours the 1950s classic with staggering precision. Branded as the 'tuxedo' by Mr Les Paul himself, this masterpiece of tone is just as ground-breaking now as it was when it was first created.
Take your playing to new depths with two signature humbucker pickups. Epiphone have redesigned the classic double coil to create something fresh, exciting, and nuanced. Each Probucker is critically acclaimed for its warm, textured tonal palate and high output punch.
Up high you'll discover glassy highs that go from glistening chime to screaming bite. Down low you'll find rumbling lows that rumble with tight pronunciation. Whatever style you love, the Les Paul Custom is the ultimate partner in crime.
Few guitars are as iconic as the Les Paul. With its single cutaway design and perfectly sculpted curves, it's easy to see why it took the 50s by storm. Now, it's been reinvented to usher in a new music revolution.
Crafted from solid mahogany, this is a body that sings with sweet sustain. Both pickups are mounted directly onto the tonewood, resonating with natural charisma. The results are obvious. Warm, textured tone that's as recognisable as it is unique. A huge feat that's made to look effortless.
If there's one thing the Custom is known for, it’s its easy playability. Whether you're a seasoned shredder or a laid-back rhythm player, finger positioning is simple on an ebony fretboard that's been given the slim taper treatment. Up high, you have unlimited access to reach stratospheric lead lines, and down low, you can play chords in comfort for hours on end. This is about to change what you thought about playing the guitar.
The future of electric guitar. Epiphone have worked tirelessly not only to bring you enhanced playability, but to deliver tuning stability that far surpasses the industry standard.
Discover pitch perfect playing with the LockTone ABR bridge. With the ability to adjust each string length using the corresponding screws, you can achieve impeccable intonation. There's a reason why Epiphone have kept this innovative design for over 60 years.
But the bridge can't take all the glory. Your strings will be singing in key thanks to Grover's signature Rotomatic machine heads. Admired worldwide, these tuning machines mean business. Rest assured that your tuning will stay rock solid, no matter what environment you find yourself playing in.
You're not a one trick pony. So you need a guitar that can do it all. The Epiphone Les Paul Custom has been tried and tested across a myriad of genres, bringing its bespoke flair to each party. Go from bright high end to rounded lows with the 3-way pickup toggle. This sensitive selector is everything you need to take your tone on a journey it won't forget.
Just like Bonnie and Clyde, two Tone pots work in harmony to bring depth and texture to your guitar sound. Dial your high frequencies with full tonal control of each pickup. This is timbre that is sure to turn heads, no matter where you are.

First off I must say I love this guitar it's beautiful (now I've sorted it).
I noticed straight away the action was horribly high, which I kind of understand as not everyone want's low action. However when I lowered it to a more reasonable level it buzzed like hell. I checked the neck relief and it was wildly over relieved so adjusted to correct tolerance. Buzzing was worse, so I removed the strings to get a better look at the frets and as I suspected 4 frets were high (2 around 8/9th frets and 1 at 12th and one at 15th). I have quite a few luthering tools but not a crowning file so I had to buy one. I levelled & crowned the mentioned frets polished all frets and treated the fretboard, followed by new strings and a fresh set up. BANG! It's now brilliant low action no buzz. I own 4 other Les Paul guitars (3 Epi's and one Gibson standard) and am happy that this is 'different' to the others which is what I was after. The ProBucker 2&3's in it suit the guitar perfectly and gold hardware is gorgeous. Apart from the high frets mentioned all the fret ends were perfect no sharp bits. I wanted to try Rimmers as have used most of the main other UK online guitar shops and generally been happy but wanted to share the love (as it were). I was very happy with the purchasing experience and delivery. Not sure whether the guitar was looked at or checked prior to dispatch not sure whether issues I have raised are Epiphone or Rimmers fault. I could have sent the guitar back but knew I could sort it with a couple of hours works and really couldn't be bothered repacking and sending back as I could see the guitar itself was a beauty. I would use Rimmers again but may not be quite as understanding as on this occassion. I did not make contact with Rimmers (to be fair to them) at all since I'd sorted it myself and I'm not a complainer as a rule unless of course it warrants it. 4 stars reflects the fret issues other than that would have been 5.
