What we Think...
The Sheraton II pro is epiphones most influential “thin line” semi-hollow body electric archtop model. The body construction is laminated maple with a mahogany centre block, overally giving a solid bright tone. The neck is hard maple, glued into the body with the classic 1960s slim taper profile, with a rosewood fingerboard, it really is great to play. The inlays are beautiful mother pearl and abalone, complimenting the “Tree of life” inlay on the headstock. The orginal ES-335 had a trapeze tailpiece, the Sheraton II has a stopped tailpiece which really does improve the sustain. The guitar is top off with a pair of probucker humbucker pickups, which really do give a serious kick and great versatility even to the more demanding player. And i have to say again ,it is a “must have “ model from the epiphone range.

Obviously by looking at this guitar you can see the guitars that influenced it over the years. Once described blues legend John Lee Hooker as "an out-did 335" this guitar has a sound that is great for not only the blues and jazz guys but even the heavier side of rock as well. Small enough to be comfortable for most players yet large enough to great a sweet resonant tone.
The Epiphone Sheraton II Pro has been made to be as close as possible to original spec while still staying at a great low price. Made with an all maple body body and a 5 piece maple/walnut neck you have great stability and resonance so you know this will work night after night. Finished off with a rosewood fingerboard this guitar has a premium sound and feel you would not believe.

No matter if you need smooth jazz cleans or crushing rock overdrives this has you covered. Add in the fact that you can tap the pickups at any time for single coil like tones and you are ready for any gig.
