Fender Limited Edition American Pro Precision Bass Daphne Blue
Re-designed and tweaked to bring together the best of the Vintage P-bass with improved refinements, and an all-new set of pickups.
Fender have used Alder to craft the distinctive and elegant body shape of the precision bass, with its double cutaway design allowing for easy reach of the higher frets when you need it.
Traditional bolt-on construction sees the addition of a Roasted Maple neck that features a “1963 C” shape. The “golden” ’63 P Bass neck profile gives you that great, comfortable feeling that allows for fast, enjoyable playing.
Atop the neck is a matching Roasted Maple fretboard and 20 narrow tall frets, giving you perfect intonation and an extremely natural playing feel.
Adding stability to the neck and guarding against warping, Fender have installed Posiflex graphite support rods that run the length of the neck.
Bass pickup designing legend Michael Bump has developed the brand-new V-Mod split-coil Precision bass pickup for use on the American Professional Bass.
Using a carefully selected combination of alnico magnet types, the new V-Mod split single-coil pickup gives the Precision bass that beautiful tone you’re looking for with vintage style and authentic Fender sonic DNA.
In addition to this, there's a brand-new V-Mod single-coil Jazz Bass pickup at the bridge, which makes use of a carefully selected combination of alnico magnet types.
The end result is a beautifully balanced sound with authentic Fender jazz bass tone.
Each of these pickups has a dedicated concentric Volume and Tone control pot, allowing you to finely shape your sound.
