Fender have been at the forefront of musical instruments seemingly from the dawn of time, and yet never stop pushing the boundaries of what is possible with musical instruments, constantly improving on timeless classics, like the Stratocaster, Telecaster and Jazz basses. The Fender American Elite series brings a plethora of new features to these classic designs like the 4th generation Noiseless Pickups, offering crisp clear and clean tones, and punchy overdrive, all the while cancelling any excess noise. Not to mention the range of tones available with the S-1 push/pull switching system. The Stratocasters now have easy grip volume and tone controls allowing for minute adjustments on the go. The Telecaster Thin lines now have a new suspension bridge which delivers more sustain and response, thanks to the increased vibration transferral. Even the classic shapes have been ever so slightly redesigned to allow comfy access to the upper register. Always expanding, always pushing, Fender have done it yet again!
Designed for 21st-century players, the American Elite Series sports a new compound neck profile designed for comfort and the ultimate playability.
A modern "C"- shape at the nut, the rear of the neck transforms along the length of the neck to a modern "D"- shaped profile at the updated neck heel that blends into the asymmetrical neck volute, providing plenty of ergonomic support and comfortably enhanced playing feel.
With the all-new 4th generation Noiseless pickups, exclusive to the American Elite Series, Fender have achieved the sonic equivalent of cold fusion—authentic vintage-style Fender sound combined with noise-free performance.
The new double action truss rod adjustment wheel makes it a snap to adjust the instrument's neck relief without any special tools.
New from Fender the American Elite series, replacing the Fender Deluxe series the Elite brings back a whole load of classic features but with some fantastic new additions!
Starting with the bodies, Fender has stayed traditional with their wood choices; Alder and Ash. All the body contours that Fender are known for still remain but with a bit more wood carved out, making the bodies overall more comfortable and ergonomic. With this new range Fender has introduced a whole host of new features; brand new 4th gen Noiseless pickups, compound fretboard (9.5”-14”), compound neck radius (modern C- modern D), S-1 switching and more. The combination of all these features means that overall this is the most innovative range that Fender have created!
