Gibson Les Paul Studio BBQ Burst LPST19MQCH1 Guitar

Note:May Not Be Actual Case Shown

Discover the classic Les Paul experience, designed especially for studio musicians. This Gibson Les Paul Studio has the iconic single cutaway body, providing easy access to the higher frets. The body and neck are crafted from rich mahogany and the body has a bright maple top, whilst the rosewood fingerboard brings sweetness. To keep your tone in tune throughout the studio sessions, there is a Gibson Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge on-board with Grover Rotomatic tuners.
Achieve that studio-quality sound with the 490R pickup at the neck and the 498T at the bridge. These Gibson pickups are high output and extremely hot, and together they deliver huge, punchy tones that are ideal for rock music. The Gibson Les Paul Studio is complete with a vintage BBQ Burst finish and classy chrome hardware. It is delivered with a Gibson Hardshell case, for easy transport between studio sessions.

Studio Quality Sound

To create that studio quality sound, the Gibson Les Paul Studio is loaded with a 490R pickup at the neck and a 498T at the bridge. The 490R 'Modern Classic' is inspired by the versatile pickups of the 60s that Gibson designed. The 'R' stands for rhythm, as the pickup yields a strong upper mid-range that enhances the natural sustain of the mahogany body. Whilst the 498T 'Hot Alnico' has high-output with an Alnico V magnet that works exceptionally well with heavy styles. This pickup is able to produce strong leads with excellent single note definition. Independent tone and coil-tap volume controls provide players with excellent tonal shaping, along with the toggle switch for a range of powerful combinations.

Comfortable Play For Studio Musicians

Crafted with the iconic single cutaway Les Paul body, this Studio model offers easy access to higher frets and comfortable play. The body is made from mahogany, which delivers a rich tone with plenty of warmth. Mahogany as a tonewood is favoured by rock musicians due to its thick and punchy midrange. With Gibson's Ultra Modern weight relief, the Les Paul Studio has a lighter weight making it ideal for guitarists who often play live or in the studio. Ultra-Modern weight relief features a solid core with chambers around the guitar's body for less feedback and a more comfortable weight.

Reliable Gibson Hardware

The Les Paul Studio provides a stable and reliable tone with Gibson and Grover hardware. The Gibson Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge features wide footing for increased intonation range, and it is paired with a lightweight aluminium stopbar tailpiece. There are also Grover Rotomatic tuners on-board that keep your tone in tune throughout the night.

TekToid Nut

The addition of a TekToid graphite nut offers increased harmonics in the middle and upper frequency range, perfect for creating a rich and detailed tone. TekToid Graphite is the best high-tech cure for eliminating undesirable friction within the nut, which can cause tuning problems. It is the ideal choice for a guitar nut, as it has excellent conductive qualities which overall benefit a guitar’s tone and sustain.

Les Paul Studio

The Les Paul first entered the world in the early 1940s, when the legendary guitarist created the world's first solid body electric guitar that was known back then as 'The Log'. The Les Paul Studio was designed especially for artists who required a lightweight and more basic Les Paul, that would be more convenient for studio use. Introduced back in the early 80s, the Les Paul Studio instantly became a new alternative for Les Paul lovers of all ages and levels.
