Gretsch G2210 Streamliner Jr Jet Club Imperial Stain

An exciting new addition to the Streamliner™ Collection, the G2210 Streamliner Junior Jet™ Club is a workhouse.

With aggressive quick response, the sleek Junior Jet Club is designed for the down and dirty guitarist who demands no-nonsense tone at an affordable price.

Powered by Broad’Tron™ humbucking pickups, this Streamliner guitar delivers robust lows, and a good midrange that is harnessed and shaped by a master tone control, master volume control and three-way pickup switching. A fast-playing 12”-radius laurel fingerboard with elegant pearloid Neo-Classic™ inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets sits atop the bolt-on nato neck with a thin “U”-shaped profile—ideal for chord work or fiery riffing.

Dressed in stylish finishes including Golddust, Gunmetal, Imperial Stain and Vintage White, the G2210 also features an anchored compensated wrap-around bridge, synthetic bone nut, bound neck, vintage-style control knobs, tortoise pickguard and nickel hardware.

The surprisingly inexpensive Streamliner Junior Jet Club from Gretsch is a solid-body single cut mounted with Broad'Tron pickups for sound with extra punch. The pickups provide the stable tonal foundation offered by PAF-styled humbuckers, along with that hint of brightness you can only get with vintage Gretsch pickups. With a no-fuss electronic layout that consists of little more than a master volume, master tone and 3-way switch, tweaking your tone is a simple job while the Wraparound bridge.

It's a lovely guitar but there is a problem with the tuning. The bridge is a little forward and there is not enough adjustment on the two allen key screws to rectify this. Consequently, it's registering a little sharp, the G string especially. If there is no way of fixing it, it will have to be returned, shame because other than that it's a nice tradishonal guitar.
