Gretsch G2655T Streamliner CB JR DC IMPRL Electric Guitar
Ready for rock 'n' roll. The Gretsch G2655T Streamliner CB Jr is the powerful guitar you need to untether your sound. Because it's equipped with a range of features that'll take your live playing to the next level. Specially designed Broad'Tron pickups are great at loud volumes, and can accommodate any playing style. And a light spruce centre block eliminates feedback, ensuring maximum clarity.
It's a guitar you won't want to put down. That's because Gretsch have crafted it to ensure the absolute maximum in playability. A double cutaway, slightly smaller body shape lets you play at the top of the scale with uninhibited access, while a thin "U"-shaped neck provides both comfort and a speedy playing action. So firing off up-tempo solos and riffs will be a breeze. And with a classic Bigsby tremolo, you can make them more distinctive than ever. Play your best.
Don't be restricted. The Gretsch G2655T is loaded with the pickups you need to play with complete freedom. Broad'Tron BT-2S humbuckers at the bridge and neck positions combine to deliver a full-bodied, extensive tonal palette. They're designed to perform brilliantly at any frequency. So whether you're looking to play booming, bassy power chords or sizzling, piercing solos, the G2655T has got you covered.
Make sure everything you play really gets heard. Because the G2655T Streamliner lets you play at the highest volumes. The Broad'Tron pickups are high output, meaning cranking your sound up to 11 won't be a problem. And unlike many other hollow body guitars, Gretsch have engineered this model to ensure that the unpleasant buzzing often associated with playing loudly is eliminated. Its lightweight spruce centre block prevents feedback, ensuring every note you hit shines with sparkling clarity. This is a guitar that's born for the stage.
Playability is something that often goes overlooked in a guitar. Many manufacturers prioritise fancy electronics and a stylish aesthetic over playing experience. But not Gretsch. They know that an awesome-sounding instrument is useless unless you can play it comfortably and easily.
And that's the exact experience the G2655T provides. Thanks to a slim "U"-shaped neck, your hand can naturally and smoothly glide to all positions along the instrument's scale. Perfect for speedy playing and difficult chord sequences. A slightly more compact Streamliner Jr. body size provides your strumming hand with greater access to the strings, too. Enjoy playability at its absolute best.
It's simple to add a distinctive edge to your sound when you're armed with the G2655T. Gretsch have equipped it with a number of features that'll help you craft music that's entirely your own. A master tone control allows you to dial in the right frequency for whatever you're playing, while quick 3-way pickup switching makes flicking from lead to rhythm fast and easy.
Then there's the iconic Bigsby B50 vibrato tailpiece. These tremolo systems have been used by some of the best in the business for decades. It'll let you add warbling, wavering tremolo to your playing - so if you're looking to make your solos stand out, this is the tool for you.
