Here we have an ex-display Gretsch G5230T Electromatic Jet FT BLK Electric Guitar. The guitar has been on display at our showroom here in Bolton but is brand new. I have checked this guitar over and it only has very slight surface polishing scratches, these are that fine that they don't show on camera and you have to turn the guitar into the light to see them. The guitar plays great and has a lovely low action (set-up). This is a fantastic buy and a nice saving.

The Gretsch G5230T Electromatic FT, Black features a beautifully chambered mahogany body, topped with maple, creating a lightweight instrument with rich yet bright tones and excellent resonance. The chambered body design improves the guitar's harmonic richness, while the single cutaway allows easy access to the upper frets for a smooth performance. The G5230T's mahogany neck offers full and deep tones, and the black walnut fingerboard complements the earthy sound of the neck, whilst delivering a balanced and projected tone. Equipped with a set of Black Top Filter'Tron Pickups at the bridge and neck, the Gretsch G5230T Electromatic produces exceptionally clear yet powerful tones that pack a punch. The Gretsch G5230T features a sleek and classy Black finish, complete with a silver plexi pickguard as well as chrome hardware, vintage inspired purfling and a retro Bigsby B50 Vibrato.
The Gretsch G5230T Electromatic FT features a chambered mahogany body, which offers exceptionally rich, and resonant tones. The warmth and depth of the mahogany construction makes it ideal for punchy rock music, while the adjoining maple top extends the tonal characteristics by enhancing the brightness and providing a full-bodied tone. The body also features a single cutaway for easy access to the higher frets, resulting in a smooth performance.
The Gretsch G5230T Guitar features a sturdy mahogany neck that yields rich and warm tones, as well as excellent durability. Mahogany provides a sonic resonance to the overall sound, and it is topped with a walnut fingerboard that not only offers an attractive aesthetic but also provides a balanced and unique earthy tone.
With a pair of Black Top Filter'Tron Pickups located at the bridge and neck, the G5230T captures the deep, resonant tones of the chambered body. The Filter'Tron pickups deliver a huge, punchy sound that works well with rock music, while still producing excellent balance and transparency that allows the wood's natural tone to shine through. With full, focused lows and sparkling highs, the Filter'Tron pickups provide defined tones for a variety of playing styles.
The Anchored Adjusto-Matic Bridge has featured on many Gretsch guitars over the years due to its reliable tuning. Introduced in the early 1970s, this innovative bridge offers superb, individual intonation for each string, with its six adjustable saddles.
The G5230T Electromatic Jet features a black gloss finish, with a silver plexi pickguard and chrome hardware for an attractive appearance. The guitar is also equipped with a Bigsby B50 Vibrato Tailpiece, that not only offers pitch bending characteristics but also provides a retro look.
