Ibanez BTB676 6-String Bass Guitar | Natural Flat
The Ibanez BTB676 6-String Bass Guitar is constructed from a deep cutaway Ash body with stunning Walnut top for a resonant tone and stylish natural finish. Paired with a 3pc Maple/Bubinga neck, 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard and Mono Rail II bridge the BTB676 delivers an effortless playability whilst the 3-band active EQ and Martolini BH1 pickups produce a smooth, dynamic and attacking tone.
Constructed from a 5pc Maple/Bubinga neck the BTB676 6 string offers a lightning quick playability whilst the Bubinga centre piece allows additional strength and support to ensure a strong and secure construction. The smooth and natural finish neck is paired with a Rosewood fingerboard with 24 medium frets and stylish abalone dot inlays.
The Ibanez BTB676 incorporates a string-thru body construction to provide improved tonality and sustain by transferring vibrations and resonance from the string to the body as it goes over the Mono-Rail II bridge and passes through the body.
Loaded with an on board 3-band active EQ system the Ibanez BTB676 can be fine-tuned and tweaked to output a range of different tone styles before even reaching an amplifier. Paired with Nordstrand “Big Single†pickups and a switchable middle frequency switch the Ibanez BTB676 is perfect for anything from hard rock to smooth jazz genres.
Over the past 30 years, Ibanez guitars and basses have always been at the forefront of developing the right tools for guitar players pushing the boundaries of music. For decades, Ibanez designers and luthiers have been the embodiment of this ideology, pushing their skills to the edge of imagination, consistently creating some of the most versatile and unique instruments ever. Although Ibanez guitars have been made since 1908, it wasn't until the late 1980’s that they began to form an identity for themselves when artists such as Steve Vai and Frank Zappa began using their instruments. Now with a huge artist clientele across the globe Ibanez are a leading manufacturer of electric guitars and basses and a first choice for many dedicated musicians.
