Ibanez GSR200 Electric Bass Guitar, Black
What We Think
When you walk into a room full of bass guitars it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, but the striking, black to glossy wood design and overall look of the GSR200 makes this one in particular stand out.
Often, bass guitars can feel heavy in your hands, making them almost a struggle to play; the GSR200 doesn’t have that problem. It is lightweight and easy to handle, a joy to play!
I would recommend this guitar for beginners, as though the strings are metal, they are flexible enough to not hurt untrained fingertips. Once you plug in this bass to an amp (I used the Rumble 200) you can hear the quality in the instrument. Not too muddy or distorted, but not too soft where you can’t bring out the “rock and roll” element that the bass guitar is known for
Ibanez GSR200 Soundgear Bass Guitar, Black - GSR Soundgear basses, the world`s best selling basses, provide the looks, tone and comfort-and the same rigorous set-up and inspection-of our most expensive basses.
It seems most manufacturers have their own entry-level ranges of Basses these days and fortunately Ibanez isn`t an exception to this rule. Ibanez GIO series Basses are exceptional, each instrument is built to the same high quality specifications as that of it`s premium counterpart. So if you`re looking for an entry level Bass Guitar by a historically renowned guitar maker then look no further than the Ibanez GIO series Basses.
Ibanez basses have been used on some of modern rock`s most poignant albums of recent years. The preferred instruments of many awe inspiring bass players, amongst them Fieldy from Korn, Paul Gray from Slipknot and Peter Iwers of In Flames, Ibanez Basses continue to be the first stop for learners and professionals alike, no matter what musical genre they exist in.
