Kawai ES120 Portable Piano White
The ES120 is the newest member of Kawai's ES line of high-end portable digital pianos and the eagerly anticipated replacement for the ES110. With updated cushioning material that helps to lessen action noise when keys are released, this brand-new 2022 model has an improved version of the Responsive Hammer Compact keyboard action. The most affordable ES instrument now features the most recent Shigeru Kawai SK-EX samples while keeping the existing Kawai EX concert grand piano sounds from the ES110 model. The ES120's primary acoustic piano sounds have also been updated. In addition, the ES120 has a number of brand-new electronic piano, string, and bass sounds from the bigger ES520, as well as a sound for a real upright piano, giving it a wide range of sound effects that may be used for any musical situation.

The ES120 now has Bluetooth Music connectivity in addition to USB-MIDI and Bluetooth MIDI, enabling wireless playback of audio from mobile devices through the instrument's speakers or via the usual 1/4' Line Out connectors. The ES120 supports Kawai's most recent PianoRemote and PiaBookPlayer apps, enabling sounds, settings, and lesson song scores to be picked from a compatible iOS or Android device, just like the ES920 and ES520 portable pianos debuted in Autumn 2020.

The ES120’s Responsive Hammer Compact keyboard action has been specially developed to allow portable instruments to reproduce the distinctive touch of an acoustic grand piano.  Based on the highly-regarded RH action design, its spring-less technology and sturdy construction delivers consistent upward and downward motion, while improved cushioning material helps to reduce keyboard noise, resulting in a smooth, natural, and highly authentic piano playing experience

Both the SK-EX and EX are faithfully reproduced with full 88-key sampling using advanced Harmonic Imaging™ sound technology, to establish a new standard in digital piano tonal quality, and allow musicians to appreciate the contrasting properties of each.

The rich, expressive sound of the SK-EX and EX concert grand pianos is at the heart of the ES120, with all eighty-eight keys of these world-class instruments painstakingly recorded, meticulously analysed, and accurately reproduced as high-fidelity digital waveforms.

Recording each key individually in this way – as opposed to stretching the same tone over several different notes – preserves the grand pianos’ unique harmonic character, and guarantees that the sound heard when playing any one of the ES120's weighted keys is a faithful representation of the original acoustic source.

Home Installation Piano Deliveries
When you purchase a piano which we supply with home installation we place the piano in a room of your choice **, we will get in touch once we have received your order to arrange the delivery. Home installations are usually completed within 14 days of the order but often sooner if the item is in stock.
