Keyboard Club

Come To Our Keyboard Club

Its FREE to join our keyboard club and anyone can come along.

It doesn't matter how old you are or what your ability is, we can help you learn all about how to get the best from your instrument.

The aim of our keyboard club is to help all our customers (and future customers because ALL are welcome) to get the best from their instrument. We get experts from manufacturers (such as Yamaha) to come along to many of the sessions to teach you how to use your keyboard to its full potential. They will give you hints and tips and tricks of the trade. You will get help understanding why a certain feature exists and more importantly how to get the best out of it.

The sessions involve a mixture of being shown sounds and features, getting indepth explanations and always questions and answers in our open forum time. You also get the opportunity to talk with an expert privately if you prefer, although its often great to share questions and answers as usually some else will need the same help you do. You are not alone, we are here to help!

Our technical professional people will show you in detail how to get the most out of your instrument by teaching you useful information, such as how to create a sound setting known as a "registration memory", how to record yourself playing (both on the machine itself and externally), how to set up appropriate sounds, rhythms or styles for different types of music, or why certain rhythms exist and how they are formed. You will learn how orchestrations are made using keyboards, how to play chords with different bass notes, when and how to seamlessly change sounds and add "fill ins" to songs. You can also learn how keyboards are used in film making, by DJ's, gaming and record production and how to do it yourself! You will also hear great music being made from fantastic musicians.

The meetings are very informal, free and easy whilst remaining well organsied and very informative for you. You will learn about new products, techniques, ideas and concepts. You will get educational sessions from people involved in the development of electronic keyboards and first hand pre-launch views of new products. You will be the first to see and hear exclusive items as they are released, demonstrated by the manufacturer or our own in-house experts.

There is a balance of being shown techniques, sounds and tunes, with time available to discuss, mingle with like minded enthusiastic people and get the one to one help you may require to fulfill your destiny on the keyboard!

Everyone enjoys the club nights, the community spirit they create and the improvements to the knowledge they get out of them. Come on down and see for yourself, you have everything to gain and nothing to lose!
