The renowned KORG brand's beginnings date back to 1962 and were the result of a collaboration between nightclub owner Tsutomu Katoh and Tadashi Osanai. Osanai decided to enhance a rhythm machine in one of Katoh's establishments because he was dissatisfied with its performance. A year later, the duo successfully commercialised the DA20, one of the earliest examples of an electro-mechanical rhythm machine, with Katoh's financial support. Since then, they've come a long way, and we're pleased to be a part of it.
