Finding our Liverpool Store couldn't be easier, simply use the map across to see exactly where we are! Alternatively you can click through and get directions straight from your front door! To solve the potentially costly issue of parking in a busy city centre, we have our own purpose built car park at the very front of the store, with additional street parking available down Baker Street at the side of the building. Whilst a 20 minute walk from Liverpool Lime Street Station, there are bus stops to and from all central stations right outside our store, meaning getting to us by any mode of transport is easy.
Just down the road from the one of Liverpool's many live music venues at the Liverpool Olympia, being on a main arterial route through Liverpool city centre makes it very easy to spot us if you're travelling along the A5049. There really is no excuse not to pay us a visit!
The youngest of the family or as the locals may say "our kid", our Liverpool store only opened in September 2014 and is our first store to be situated within a major city centre. Whilst still relatively young, they are already well established within the local scene of musicians and have fast become the first choice for many in a city with a rich musical history.
As one of the larger of our eight stores, Liverpool has a huge amount of floor and wall space, of which we have tried to fill as much as possible with one of the biggest selections of musical instruments within the North West. What's more, in keeping with a vibrant city that is rich in culture, our Liverpool store has been designed with a contemporary feel, setting it apart from older stores within the area.
Upon entering the store you'll initially be met by a dazzling display of pianos from Yamaha in our home music area, central to which are Grand Pianos from their new Diskalvier Enspire range which play actually themselves! Surrounding these are a fantastic array of digital pianos and keyboards from both Yamaha and Casio, ensuring that we have the perfect keyed instrument to suit every set of budget and needs. Travelling further into the back half of the store, you'll enter our live band area which contains just about everything the gigging musician could want! With Strats, Teles, Basses and more from Fender, more electrics from Gretsch, ESP and Guild and wide range of acoustics from a the likes of Faith, Lakewood and Alvarez, guitarists are seriously spoilt for choice!
For the more digitally and electronically minded, we've got some fantastic top of the range electronic drum kits from Alesis and Roland, as well as a slew of synths and DJ gear from KORG, Nord and more. For the traditionalists, we've got a boss range of Boss pedals that pair nicely with valve driven amps from Vox and Blackstar, plus plenty of clout from Mapex in the drum department. Try them out in our ready to go stage area where you can look the part as well sound it!
In addition We Can Teach You To Play at Rimmers Music School Liverpool with lessons available on keyboard, piano, guitar, drums, clarinet and singing! As with our other stores, our aim is to help you get the most out of your instrument, which is why we offer a free trial lesson with every guitar, piano, keyboard, clarinet or drums purchased in store!
We also have a growing number of Rehearsal Studios soon being made available for rent, providing a secure and soundproofed space for bands and musicians to practice & store their gear. These rooms will be spacious enough to provide plenty of room for two bands to share and share the rent.
