Care for the Piano

1.1 The piano is to be moved and positioned by our professional transport team members only, unless this is a portable item that a customer can carry themselves.

1.2 The piano is to be tuned by one of our professional piano tuners only. Should you have a preferred piano tuner you must agree this with us in advance (were this applies ie the item is an acoustic piano).

1.3 The piano must not be used as anything other than a musical instrument. Glasses, ornaments and props must not be placed on the piano during your event. Any damage to the cabinet or working parts of the piano whilst it is in your care is the responsibility of the hirer.

1.4 If the piano is returned to us damaged, unclean or defective then you shall be liable for the cost of repairs to the piano. As piano restoration specialists we will provide you with the quote for the cost of repair should this happen.

1.5 As fore mentioned, the piano is only to be moved by our team of specialist piano movers. Should the piano be moved by any other party whilst in your or your company's care, then the cost of the damage is payable by you, the hirer. As piano restoration specialists we will provide you with the quote for the cost of repair should this happen.



Ownership

2.1 Ownership of the piano remains with us at all times.



Payment

3.1 The deposit is payable within 7 days of the invoice/agreement and is non refundable if the event is cancelled without 2 months notice.

3.2 Full payment for the hire must be paid on or before delivery by cash, BACS or card payment using chip and pin.



Delivery, Collection & Site Access

4.1 We will agree a delivery and collection time with you prior to your event.

4.2 As the hirer, you must ensure that the written details given to us at the time of booking about the site, location and access is accurate. This will ensure that we are able to bring the correct equipment for the job. We will take no responsibility for loss should this information be incorrect.

4.3 All sites must be suitable for a maximum of a 7.5 tonne vehicle to make a delivery



Insurance

5.1 Our specialist delivery team provide public liability insurance whilst they are onsite installing the piano and de-installing the piano.

5.2 Whilst the piano is in your care, the piano is covered by our exhibition insurance. The cost for this is £25 which is included in your hire charge.

*Note: The delivery/collection charges on this page are only a guide and will be fully agreed and itemised at the time of hire. We also reserve the right to offer a suitable alternative model to the ones stated in some circumstances.
