Covers The Cost Of Engineer Time: If a product goes wrong after the standard guarantee period engineer time can be very expensive, involving evaluation fees from a minimum of £45.00 + vat, plus additional labour and parts (if required).

Covers The Cost of Parts: Depending on the issue parts can be very expensive.

None Portable Products Are Repaired At Your Home: Items that are not portable are repaired at your home for no extra fee! These items are Home Digital Pianos (excludes portable pianos) and Acoustic Pianos.
Covers Product Replacement Cost: If your product develops a fault within the guarantee period beyond economical repair your product will be replaced "like for like" as determined by Rimmers Music, or monetary compensation will be given to the equivalent current market value of the product at the time (subject to condition at the sole descretion of Rimmers Music).
TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. This online purchase will cover any mechanical or electronic breakdown, or malfunction due to poor workmanship, inferior quality parts or components.

2. It covers both parts and labour during the Guarantee period.

3. Must be purchased at the time of initial product sale unless otherwise agreed by Rimmers Music (with written consent).

4. If your product develops a fault within the guarantee period beyond economical repair your product will be replaced "like for like" as determined by Rimmers Music, or monetary compensation will be given to the equivalent current market value of the product at the time (subject to condition at the sole discretion of Rimmers Music).

5.Valid Only On New Products Only

It will not cover:

1. Any cosmetic damage of your product due to normal wear & tear.

2. Any fault or failure due to misuse or accidental damage.

3. Any failure of a part that would normally require renewal during the extended Guarantee period.

4. Courier costs for portable products from 30 days after the product delivery date as per our usual terms and conditions of sale.

In the event of a dispute arising, an independent expert will be called at the expense of the policy holder and in agreement with Rimmers Music. If it is deemed that the repair is required due to any of the areas covered, Rimmers Music will pay for the expert and the subsequent repair or replacement.
This Extended Guarantee is in addition to the standard Rimmers Music and manufacturer guarantee policies, and the Rimmers Music terms and conditions of sale. This digital baby grand piano is amazing. It looks fantastic in its baby grand polished ebony cabinet and has some additional benefits to a standard baby grand. The speaker system is awesome enhanced by the cabinet and soundboard on this piano. You can also play with headphones and the bluetooth, midi, audio and usb connecting make this very versatile. The key action is very responsive and has 100 levels of adjustment you can make too! By connecting this to the Roland apps 'Piano Partner 2' and the 'Piano Designer' you can access additional features such as ear tests, music scores on the screen of your table or phone; and even rhythms and accompaniments you can use! From the beautiful piano sound to a synth brass with a backing track this piano looks great, sounds amazing and it extremely versatile. I think this is excellent value for money.

Grand Piano Keyboard Feel
Keyboard action is the term used to describe the key mechanism system used in a piano. It is important to choose a digital piano that offers the closest keyboard feel to that found in an acoustic piano. The Roland GP609 uses the PHA-50 keyboard action which is manufactured from a combination of wood and plastic parts to give the natural feel of a traditional piano whilst using synthetic parts for long-lasting reliability.

Roland SuperNATURAL piano sound
The GP609 piano sound is generated using the same SuperNATURAL sound technology that was pioneered in the flagship Roland V-Piano. This piano sound uses computer modelling techniques to recreate the performance of an acoustic grand piano and gives the player the ability to tailor the sound to their own requirements using the Roland Piano Designer feature. Parameters such as hammer noise, string resonance, damper resonance, hammer hardness and individual note tuning (along with other settings) can all be adjusted to create your own bespoke piano tones. These can be saved within the internal memory of the GP609.

Connect To Apps for Even More Features
Connect your GP609 digital grand piano to your iPad or Android device to make use of Roland's Piano Partner 2 app. The connection is completely wireless via Bluetooth and allows full interaction of both data and audio between the piano and the smart device. The Piano Partner 2 app allows full remote control of the piano's standard features (sound & voice selection, menu functions, recording, metronome etc) as well as unlocking completely new features such as rhythms/accompaniments, theory games and play along with music with the on-screen score.

If you dont have a piano player in-house, the GP609 can wirelessly stream music from a smartphone through to its powerful onboard speakers, with adjustable volume depending on whether you just need background music or actual musical performance. A variety of onboard sounds means it's possible to play a broad repertoire of popular songs too.
