The Roland Jazz Chorus JC22 is the perfect amp for guitarists looking to achieving crystal clear clean tones but in a compact, practice amp size, ideal for use at home. This amplifier gives you the option of either mono or stereo inputs, so it is ideal for effects pedals and multi effects units that have a stereo output. Featuring two power amps, the JC22 gives you a true stereo set up, which compliments the built in effects superbly. The ‘Dimensional Space Chorus’ and reverb make full use of the stereo capability and gives the amp a wide, ambient sound, much larger sounding than it looks! To finish this off you also have a ‘bright’ button, mono/stereo line outputs, a mono/stereo effects loop, a headphone socket for silent practice and the option for footswitches to control either the built-in reverb or chorus.

Connect and Control

The JC-22’s rear panel is filled with connectivity options. There’s an effects loop for patching in mono or stereo effects, and you even have your choice of series or parallel operation. Line Out jacks give you a convenient direct feed to a mixing console or recorder, while plugging into the Headphones jack automatically mutes the onboard speakers for quiet practice sessions with phones. There’s also support for optional footswitches, which allow you to turn the JC-22’s chorus and reverb effects on/off while playing.
