Sigma DM-18 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar

What We Think

Having initially never heard of these guitars before I was super surprised to discover they were an offshoot of the great Martin Guitar Company. Wow they are amazing value, super comfortable finished really well.

With a bone nut, can’t tell you how much this improves any acoustic guitar for tone and sustain, honestly if you ever want to improve any guitar get a bone nut, period!

Any way, the guitar is superb for its money and I can’t find anything at fault with it after owning it for a few months now, so! One more thing it has Grover tuners with the butterbean knobs and these are great at holding tune on the guitar, what more do you want?

With a big nod to the Martin D-18, the Sigma DM-18 provides an affordable way to re-live the classic Martin experience! Not just similar in looks, the Sigma has that wonderfully balanced tone so synonymous with the Martin.

An absolute fan favorite! The Sigma DM-18 D Acoustic Guitar is one of the most popular guitars in the Sigma range. It's the ultimate all-rounder, with a powerful open Mahogany back and sides mixed with the dreadnought performance, the sound that comes out of the DM 18 D is meaty and full of clarity.

It's easy to play a number of styles on the DM-18 D, from finger picking to strumming you will always get a balanced sound with an abundance of character and tone. Note the Diecast Tuner as well, its easy to use and long lasting.
