The guitar’s back & sides are exotic veneered Hawaiian Koa. With Taylor’s Expression system 2 pickup, it sounds fantastic when plugged in. The min’s scaled-down design blends ultra-portability with the voice and projection of a full size guitar. The guitar also has the patented NT neck for signature Taylor playability.
The Taylor acoustic guitar features a scaled down grand symphony body shape, delivering the classic rich, powerful acoustic voice of a normal sized guitar but in a more compact and transportable design. The Taylor Guitar's layered koa design features an all-wood laminated construction, with interior and exterior layers of beautifully-figured koa veneer separated by a middle core layer of Poplar. The koa tonewood provides the GS Mini guitar with the perfect amount of brightness and top end presence to create searing tones that suit a wide range of musical styles. Another feature of koa is that the more it's played, the more open the sound becomes, opening up the midrange and creates a rich, sweet, resonant tone.
