I ordered a new Fender guitar on the website. It took 10 days for the guitar to finally arrive after I had contacted customer services several times. When the guitar finally arrived it was clearly a guitar that had been on display in one of the stores. It was not in the original Fender packaging and had damage to the finish around the neck pocket and scratches on the bridge end of the guitar. I believe it to be the case that the guitar I ordered was unavailable and therefore my order was fulfilled by way of a ex-display or return guitar (no indication was given to me that that was what I was finally going to get). On receipt, I contacted customer service who, unhelpfully, told me to contact returns. I contacted returns and they never returned my call. I was so upset about all this that I decided that I would keep the guitar and take the hit as I have absolutely no faith in Rimmersmusic to sort this out and I was not prepared to pay for the return of the guitar. I regret ever coming across this company and seriously regret paying £507 to them when there are many other music companies where I could (and have) bought the same guitar and received it the next day and in perfect condition. Do not buy a guitar online from this company. That said, I'm sure their stores are perfectly ok to deal with as at least you would be dealing face to face with them.
