Versatile, accurate, and realistic. The Yamaha DTX6 series features a set of electronic drum pads that represent the very best of modern e-drum technology. The XP80 snare pad's main playing surface is constructed from TCS (Textured Cellular Silicone), filled with micro-pockets of air which absorb your sticks' energy for an accurate and satisfying hit. The rim has two separate zones, allowing you to switch from chunky rimshots to delicate cross-sticks in an instant.
Likewise, the KP90 kick drum pad has a multi-layered cushion, providing a precise response at all velocity levels. And with a 7.5" diameter, and robust positioning spikes, the KP90 can handle heavy, double-pedal strokes with ease. The PCY135 cymbal pads contain three distinct playing zones, and are also choke-able, for limitless expression, while the two-zone RHH135 hi-hat pad comes with a traditional, metal hi-hat stand for a true drum kit feel.
Hundreds of authentic drum samples at your fingertips. The DTX6's new and improved DTX-PRO sound module is smarter than your average drum brain. It comes loaded with more than 700 multi-layered samples - exclusively recorded at some of Europe's top studios by Yamaha-approved artists - with room for you to upload hundreds more of your own. Working with the DTX6's multi-zone pads, these painstakingly collated recordings provide every conceivable articulation, so you can play without compromise.
The DTX-PRO's powerful effects engine allows near-endless manipulation of your chosen sample kit. Personalise your drum sound with channel-by-channel effects sends, three-band sweepable EQ, compression, and Yamaha's in-depth Transient Adjustment system, allowing incredibly precise modification of each channel's attack and sustain times. The face-mounted Kit Modifier knobs add still more sonic options, providing hands-on control of your kit's real-room ambience, whole-kit compression, and send levels to 31 classic Yamaha effects.
Everything in the right place. The DTX6K2-X is designed around an L-shaped RS6 rack system, which places you right at the heart of the action. Bolstered by three sturdy T-legs, the RS6 leaves plenty of space on the hi-hat side, even when using a double kick drum pedal, and the side rack places the sound module neatly out of the way of flailing drumsticks, remaining within easy reach. The included HS650A hi-hat stand is sturdy and durable, with a smooth action, and improves the real-feel dynamic of the DTX6K2-X, while the snare pad is suspended on a ball-mount clamp arm for maximum angle accuracy.

Integration with your mac or PC via simple USB - or 5-pin MIDI - means you can easily record your playing with the bundled Cubase AI software. Or cut out the middleman and record yourself playing along to your favourite tracks, directly to a USB flash drive, with the DTX-PRO's onboard recording system.
Connect your iOS or Android device and load up Yamaha's interactive Rec'n'Share app to open up a world of options for rehearsal and performance. Use your device's camera to capture video of your best performances, all with pristine Yamaha sound quality direct from your kit. Edit and mix your video, then share it to your social media accounts, directly from the app. Alternatively, you can slow down, loop, or add a click track to any song for a simple, yet powerful rehearsal tool.
