Genos2 is a fantastic library of musical history, collected and developed by Yamaha and containing years of heritage and knowledge from the world of Keyboards. Now, with over 1900 voices are presented to you in the most meticulous detail ever and span a huge range of musical genres. All of the accomaniment styles have been upgraded with the addition of 200 brand new additions which now take full advantage of the brand new effects, voices and the FM tone generation engine. Bringing back a legend with the Yamaha DX7
Derived from the amazing Yamaha Montage Synthesizer, Genos 2 is now equipped with the amazing FM Processing Engine and the legendary DX7 Synth. Extensively used by such huge artists as Phil Collins, Quincy Jones and many more, with the Yamaha Genos2 you can now enjoy this legendary synth within your own performance.

Ambient Drums
In the past, drum kits have been meticulously sampled in a controlled environment with the careful placement of microphones to capture the intricate nuances and environmental elements of the sound. Now, with Ambient Drums, YOU control where the microphone is placed. Simple to use, you can change the character of the drum beat in real time to make the drum kit either 'wetter' or 'drier'. It really helps you to tailor your performance and will guarantee that you stand out from the crowd!

Style Dynamics Control
Traditionally an accompaniment style will build in detail and complexity with each variation change. This is a great feature which has now been innovated with the new Style Dynamics Control feature. Simple to use, you can now change the dynamics and completixy of any given style part by adjusting the Slider. If you want to calm down the style during a soft piece, adjust the slider downwards, and if you decide that you want maximum impact you can move the Slider all the way to the top. It's that simple, and very effective!

REVelation Reverb
Designed by world renowned music software and hardware company Steinberg, REVelation Reverb is one of the secrets of Genos2. Reverb is used extensively to give depth and a sense of space to your performance, whether it be a room or concert hall, Reverb is everywhere. With REVelation Reverb has ultra high resolution and can be customised to your own preferences

Improved Live Surface Control
The Genos2 Live Control Surface has now been remodeled and equipped with LED's which not only looks stunning but makes it easy to see the levels of the Knobs and Sliders. Even better, the knobs are now endless and both these and the sliders also have an invaluable 'Catch' feature.

Brighter Display with an improved Viewing Angle
The Genos2 now has an even brighter display with a user changable Brightness adjustment. It has also been updated and is now tilted an additional 5degrees for an improved viewing experience.

HDMI Output for External Display
One of the new features of Yamaha Genos2 is the addition of an external HDMI Socket. You can now plug an external display simply and easily.

Redesigned Playlist & Registration Memory
Building upon the success of the original Genos, the redesigned playlist of Genos2 now offers improved searching and sorting options so that you can quickly access your favourite information. The Registration Memory now allows you to keep all of your MIDI Settings of external devices.

Chord Looper
An easy and convenient way to save your chord progressions, the Chord Looper is now easy to access directly from the panel and is brilliant for practicing and composing.

Pre order products
Products which are available to order, but are not in stock. When you purchase a pre order product we reserve stock for you from the next available incoming shipment. We will regularly update you via email with up to date lead times. 

Home Installation Piano Deliveries
When you purchase a piano which we supply with home installation we place the piano in a room of your choice **, we will get in touch once we have received your order to arrange the delivery. Home installations are usually completed within 14 days of the order but often sooner if the item is in stock.
