Yamaha P121 Digital Piano Black Advanced Package
As a result of over a century of acoustic piano craftsmanship combined with state-of-the-art technology, Yamaha has been able to produce their bespoke Pure CF Sound Engine. Allowing for incredible dynamics and expressiveness, the P121 includes sounds from the famous Yamaha CFIIIs 9' concert grand piano.
For enhanced realism, the P121 can recreate damper resonance. When the sustain pedal of an acoustic piano is pressed, every damper is lifted at the same time. This enables every string to resonate with the other note
To ensure the best possible piano experience, the P121 includes Yamaha's Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) action. The GHS action provides a lighter touch in the high end and a heavier touch in the low end to replicate the feel of an acoustic piano. This is especially useful for aspiring pianists as it can help to build proper finger technique. All black keys feature a matte finish to help absorb any moisture from your hands making less slippery. This is especially useful for long practice sessions or hot stage performances.
Special attention has been given to the design of the Yamaha P121 to ensure the best possible sound is always produced. The newly designed "table EQ" enables the player to maintain optimal clarity, even when the acoustics aren't favourable. So even if you have the P121 on a hard and flat surface, you will always get the best possible sound.
Unlike like similar pianos from Yamaha, the P121 features a 73-key keyboard. This smaller keyboard is ideal for touring musicians who require the small footprint that the P121 offers. Musicians who need to use the extreme upper and lower octave can easily use the octave shift key.
