Responsive Hammer Compact II Key Action
The Responsive Hammer Compact II (RHCII) key action, designed for Kawai’s lightweight digital pianos, delivers an authentic piano touch within a slimmer, portable form. It features grade-weighted hammers that replicate the heavier feel in the bass and lighter touch in the treble, enhancing realism across the keyboard. With triple-sensor key detection, RHCII ensures smooth repetition and expressive control, even during rapid passages. Matte key surfaces aid grip and comfort, while the compact design makes it ideal for players seeking a balance of portability, reliability, and the nuanced responsiveness associated with Kawai’s higher-end instruments.

Shigeru Kawai SK-EX Concert Grand

Using advanced sampling and Harmonic Imaging technology, Kawai faithfully reproduces every nuance of the piano’s character, allowing players to experience the expressive qualities of a world-class concert grand in a digital format that feels both authentic and inspiring
