Kawai K15E Upright Acoustic Piano | Polished Ebony
The Kawai K15 is one of the most popular pianos we sell and most likely Kawai sell too. This piano is in a modern compact finish and looks amazing. The Polished Mahogany exterior looks great, with a mirror-like quality whilst retaining the natural asthetics. The key action is nice and responsive and it has a more mellow tone than many of its competitors. When you hold the lid open with the lever mechanism this lets out the brighter side of this piano very well. Overall I think this is a great value for money piano if you want a compact size and modern look.

More About The Kawai K15 E Upright Piano Polished Mahogany
The Kawai K-15E is a fantastic addition to any home. With Its compact modern design it doesn’t take up much space within the household and unlike some other compact pianos the Kawai has a Ribbed Solid Spruce Soundboard, which is the most important component in producing its fabulous balanced tone.
The K15 uses Kawai’s ‘Ultra-Responsive Direct blow Action’. The action incorporates ABS components within its structure meaning these action parts are no longer susceptible to breakage from continuous high stress, and unlike wood the ABS parts will not shrink or expand like wood would from environmental such as humidity and/or temperature.
Overall the Kawai K15E is a phenomenal piano for pianist of all ages and skill level. With all that Kawai have put in to this piano you are guaranteed to hear and feel every nuance of your playing.
The Kawai K15e is beautiful looking piano, a contempory design model, very compact and standing at 110cm high, it would fit into many modern homes without taking too much space. The Ultra responsive direct action developed by Kawai is really lovely to play, they use select hardwood for the hammer shafts, topped off with 100% wool for the hammers, and Kawai’s ABS developed key action parts. The heart of the piano is of course the soundboard and on this model it is Premium selected spruce with four back posts, giving the piano great stability and sound projection. This model has 3 pedals, the middle one being a practice pedal and this model comes in black polish and white polish.
Premium Quality Solid Spruce Soundboard
The soundboard and ribs are considered the most important sound producing components of a piano, with both the materials used and the manner in which they are assembled greatly affecting volume and tonal quality. The K-15E soundboard is produced using the finest quality straight-grained spruce, carefully selected and scientifically tested to exceed KAWAIS demanding resonance standards, ensuring exceptional dynamic range and outstanding tonal balance across the entire sound spectrum.
Excellent Touch, Superior Reliability
The K15E features the exclusive Ultra-Responsive direct blow action, with selected hardwood hammer shanks and 100% wool felt hammer heads, providing an extraordinary touch and feel. To improve the action's climatic stability, KAWAI pioneered the use of aluminium action rails, aluminium hammer rest rails and ABS action parts addressing many of the problems associated with wooden components, such as breakage under continual high stress, and shrinking/swelling due to changes in temperature and humidity.
Contemporary Design, Attractive Price
In addition to the exceptionally large solid spruce soundboard, the K15E also utilises four fully laminated back posts, delivering optimum rigidity and enhanced tuning stability. With attractive continental styling and compact design, the K-15E is a contemporary instrument suitable for today modern living environments. Offering impressive specifications at an affordable price, this instrument represents an exceptional introduction to KAWAI quality for families and first-time piano buyers.
