More about the Yamaha DGX670 Perform with the elegance of the finest piano. In a piano that won't take over your space, you get the same massive sound of the Yamaha CFX. This world-renowned piano has played in the most prestigious concert venues and you'll get a taste of this powerful sound. One of the key parts of the grand piano sound is the complexity that comes when nearby strings to the one you're playing respond in sympathy.
With Yamaha's Virtual Resonance Modeling, the Yamaha DGX670 captures this same complex quality that is sure to reverberate around your audience. With 256-note polyphony there really is no limit to the richness of your texture. You get complexity too in this digital thanks to the tonal variation that responds to your touch. All these details create the beautiful experience of playing Yamaha‘s very own flagship 9’ concert grand piano.
Acoustic playing feel Develop technique fit for any piano. The Yamaha Graded Hammer Standard Keyboard offers you all the same resistance as an acoustic piano, even down to the detail of a heavier feel in the low end and a lighter one in the high end. Thanks to this authentic feel, your teacher will rest assured you are learning only the best technique. The aspiring pianist will then be ready to play any piano you choose, whether it's acoustic or digital.
The sound as you play will be authentic whatever your volume. This is because Yamaha have solved a common problem with digital pianos, as treble and bass notes can often be difficult to hear when played at a low volume. On the Yamaha DGX670 you're free to Practice quietly whilst still enjoying the full range, because Yamaha's Intelligent Acoustic Control adjusts the sound automatically when you're at a low volume.
Fun features Enjoy the perks of having a digital piano. After your practising your gorgeous traditional piano sounds, unwind with fun digital features that also let you create great music. Yamaha's Super Articulation Voices recreate the tones of hundreds of different instruments to the last detail. This means you get to play any of 630 high quality voices with the beauty of a virtuoso musician's sound.
Mix things up with accompaniment styles. Create a rich texture of sound in any of the 263 auto accompaniment styles, which make it possible to jam with virtual musicians, whether that's in a combo or a big band. You have all the control, as with different modes such as Adaptive Style, you can make it so your piano analyses your playing and arranges the accompaniment to suit the mood. Or, if you fancy something more stripped back, Simple Style lets you play with just rhythm and bass. The Yamaha DGX 670 means both traditional and alternative musical styles are all open to you.
