Yamaha P525 review from Barry Mills, Product Specialist at Rimmers Music:
“The fantastic new Yamaha P525 offers players fantastic sound and a new standard of control. Players can connect the instrument to their smartphone or tablet to control aspects with the graphical user interface, play along with rhythms and even create multi-track recordings. With the amazing GrandTouch-S keyboard you can now have the natural playing experience found in acoustic Yamaha models in a portable unit that you can take anywhere.”
GrandTouch-S Keyboard
The P525 features the renowned GrandTouch-S™ keyboard. Also found in Yamaha’s top-flight Clavinova digital pianos, this is as close as it gets to the touch of a grand piano
Piano Voices With Binaural Sampling
The P-525 lets you enjoy playing with the voices of the CFX, Yamaha’s best concert grand, and the warm, rich Bösendorfer Imperial grand piano, all on a single instrument. New samples deliver a fuller and more immersive sound than ever before.
More The Just A Piano Sound
Grand Expression Modeling technology accurately simulates the complex interplay between player and instrument, reproducing the same limitless tonal variation of a grand piano.
This works alongside Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) which recreates the complex resonances usually created by the vibration of strings and the soundboard.
Bluetooth & SmartPianist App Compatibility
Connect via Bluetooth to the Smart Pianist app for intuitive control, sheet music display, and chord extraction from your favourite songs. And, on the Yamaha P525, you can stream and play along with your music library through Bluetooth Audio.
Features For Live Performance
Save and recall your custom settings with Registration Memory for quick setup at gigs. Other features include Sound Boost and adjustable EQ to ensure your piano cuts through the mix when playing with a band.
