At 193cm in depth this Boston GP-193 II is a lovely piano. Designed by Steinway & sons using many of their patents this is a beautiful piano to play. Manufactured in approximately 2004 this piano was built to stand the test of time. Externally there are minor wear & tear marks and overall it looks great. Internally there are no issues, it is at concert pitch and is very clean and tidy. The key action is second to none, its fast and responsive with nice tonal changes on touch took. The harmonics sound amazing. If you are looking for a high quality grand piano I think this one plays well, looks great and is excellent value for money.

More About Boston Pianos
The Boston piano features a duplex scale, adapted from the famous Steinway & Sons design, which adds a harmonic richness that simply cant be duplicated by other instruments in a similar price range.

In comparison to other pianos, the Boston has less string tension. This reduced string tension allows for a larger, tapered soundboard, creating longer sustain, and more singing quality in the tone (as well as longer piano life). A wealth of other engineering enhancements, including optimal placement of ribs, braces, and bridges, also contribute to the Bostons superior tone and greater stability.

The Boston grand piano offers a larger soundboard in comparison to other pianos of the same length, due to its innovative wide tail design. This wider construction of the case means that a Boston grand has the same soundboard area as a typical 6' 2" grand piano, creating the power, richness, and feel of playing a much larger piano.

Each Boston piano soundboard is crafted of Sitka spruce, long proven to be the most resonant material available. Boston soundboards are also precisely tapered, which allows them to vibrate more freely. In conjunction with a number of special technologies unique patents of Steinway & Sons the result is a powerful, sustained tone.

Fine veneers underlie the elegance of the Boston pianos available in walnut and mahogany satin or polished finishes, as an alternative to the classic ebonised all designed to delight the eye and enhance the players experience.

Delivery to UK mainland addresses* is FREE for orders of £75.00 or above. A small charge will be made for orders under this amount.

Large digital pianos and all acoustic pianos include delivery & installation, this will be specified in the stock message for all applicable products. Extra charges will be incurred for steps and access issues.

Products eligible for next working day delivery will be dispatched with an overnight courier - DPD, DX, or FedEx - to be delivered on the next available weekday if ordered before 2pm, Monday-Friday. If ordered after 2pm or on a weekend or Bank Holiday, the order will be processed and shipped on the following working day, to be delivered on the next working day after this.
