The KC400 delivers robust, impactful audio with 150 watts of power in a compact design. Featuring Roland’s proprietary twin bass-reflex cabinet, it ensures deep, clear low frequencies without distortion. The revamped power section enhances bass performance, making it ideal for 88-key stage pianos, organs, synthesizers, rhythm machines, and other electronic instruments. Additionally, the efficient power design reduces the amp's weight, making the KC-400 easy to transport between gigs.
Built-In Stereo Mixing
The KC400 includes four line input channels for connecting keyboards, percussion pads, drum machines, and other gear. It also features a dedicated auxiliary input for smartphones or music players to provide backing tracks. Both line and auxiliary inputs support stereo connections, enabling you to route stereo sound to a PA or recording setup. You can also use Stereo Link to connect a second KC-400 for expanded stereo amplification. Channel 1 offers an XLR input for a vocal mic, adding versatility to your setup. The Output Select function on Channel 4 provides flexible options for monitoring click and guide tracks during live performances.
Versatile Connectivity for Various Uses
With its straightforward connectivity options, the KC-400 adapts easily to different performance, recording, and practice scenarios. It includes stereo line outputs on 1/4-inch jacks for seamless integration with PA systems, stage monitors, and recording equipment. A Sub Out jack allows connection to a powered subwoofer, with the level controlled via the amp’s master volume for easy adjustment. The KC-400 also features a headphones jack for silent practice and discreet monitoring.
Expand Your Setup with Stereo Link
For expanded input options or true stereo monitoring, the KC-400’s Stereo Link feature makes it effortless. Connecting a second KC-400 through the stereo link jacks doubles your available inputs and distributes the left and right signals of stereo instruments across both amps, offering a rich, studio-like sound experience on stage.
